Terms of service
Effective July 12, 2026 · Short on purpose — these are the actual terms, not boilerplate.
1. What OrderTask is
OrderTask is a Shopify app that creates and updates tasks in your ClickUp workspace based on order activity in your Shopify store. By installing the app you agree to these terms.
2. Billing
OrderTask is billed through Shopify Billing on your Shopify invoice, after a 7-day free trial. You can cancel anytime by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin; charges stop per Shopify's standard app billing cycle. Refund requests are handled through Shopify's app-store process, and we don't fight reasonable ones.
3. What you need to bring
A Shopify store and a ClickUp workspace. Note thatcustom-field mapping requires a paid ClickUp plan: ClickUp's Free Forever plan caps lifetime custom-field values at 60, which a live store exhausts within days. On Free workspaces OrderTask writes order details into the task description instead. This is a ClickUp limitation, not something we can lift.
4. Third-party services
OrderTask depends on the Shopify and ClickUp APIs. We work hard at reliability on our side — retries, logging, hourly reconciliation — but we can't warrant the availability or behavior of Shopify or ClickUp themselves. If either changes or degrades their API, we'll adapt as fast as one person reasonably can, and we'll tell you what's going on.
5. Acceptable use
Use the app to sync your own store's data to your own ClickUp workspace. Don't attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer for exploitation, or resell the service.
6. Liability
OrderTask is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data in third-party systems, and the like.
7. Termination
You can end this agreement at any moment by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate service for abuse or non-payment. What happens to your data on uninstall is described in theprivacy policy — in short: your ClickUp tasks stay yours, and everything we hold is purged.
8. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll note the new effective date here and, for significant changes, email the address on your store account.
